On Saturday Athing Mu took home 800 meter gold at the Pan-American U20 Championships in San José, Costa Rica. The New Jersey track star clocked a 2:05.50, winning by over two seconds, her USA teammate Morgan Foster (AZ) was third in that same race at 2:07.96.
For Mu this was a solid stepping stone of experience, the class of 2020 high schooler will be competing at the USA Outdoor Championships in Des Moines, Iowa this coming weekend. A meet where she'll be able to go after a hot time, with athletes capable of pushing her past her PR of 2:01.38.

- Samuel Allen of Kingsway finished ninth in the 10,000 meter race walk with a time of 48:22.33. He's entering his senior year.
- Grace Endy of Westfield 10th in the 10,000 meter race walk at 56:44.81. She's entering her junior year.
- Drew Maher (Shore Regional'18) of Penn State ran to eighth in the 1500 meter at 3:59.16.
