Alexa Westley of Warren Hills finished fourth in the girls 3,200-meter run in 10:31.16 at the 52nd Glenn D. Loucks Games on Friday night at White Plains High School in New York.
The 10:31.16 by the Wisconsin-bound Westley, a two-time NJ Meet of Champions 3,200 winner outdoors, is just off her PR and NJ#1 time of 10:29.51 that she ran to finish first at the Holmdel Twilight Invitational last Friday. Westley split 5:09.36/5:21.80
Junior Marlee Starliper of Northern High School in Dillsburg, Pa. won the race in a US#8 all-time and Pa. state record 9:54.75. That's the No. 2 time in the nation this season behind the 9:53.30 run by junior Katelyn Tuohy of North Rockland, N.Y., at the Red Raider Relays last month.
Tuohy, who ran a national record 9:47.88 in the 3,200 at the Loucks meet last year, scratched from tonight's race.
