On a cold misty foggy night Morris County teams threw down at their Relay Championships in Randolph, NJ on Wednesday. Randolph swept the team titles, for the girls it was their fourth straight and eighth in the past ten years while the boys won their sixth title in the past ten years.
Just one of the major highlights from last night's action was a huge 4:49 split by Abby Loveys to help her DMR squad-mates Meredith Finley, Amanda Houston, and Olivia Mancuso win the distance medley relay at 12:14.91. Loveys also ran on the winning 4x1600m and the second place 4x800m.

The Randolph girls won three other events on the track including the shuttle, 1:04.54, 4x100m, 50.39, and 4x1600m, 21:51.14. Then also brought home the three person high jump relay, 15-01, long jump relay, 49-11, and triple jump relay, 102-07.5 en route to their dominating 94 point total.
Meghan O'Malley had a hand in four of those winning events anchoring the winning shuttle hurdles, clearing 5-05 in the high jump, 17-10 in the long jump, and 37-03 in the triple jump leading all three field events individually as well.
The Randolph boys won the meet with victories in the shuttle hurdles, 1:02.05, 4x200m, 1:32.29, three person high jump relay, 16-11, and pole vault relay 36-00. For the full team summary for Randolph visit their team results page here.
Quick Notes
- The Mendham boys ran some high quality winning times of 18:13.13 in the 4x1600m NJ#1 and then 10:24.79 in the DMR NJ#2.
- Noman Saeed of Montville hit a NJ#5 in the 400H running 55.32.
- Morris Hills boys won three track events with the SMR, 3:35.86, 4x800m, 8:09.75, and 4x400m 3:30.64. As well as the shot put and javelin relays at 129-02 and 425-10. Second as a team by nine points.
- Abigail Jentzen of Jefferson Twp threw 128-05 in the javelin to break into the top ten in the state.
