Meet of Champions Meet Information, Opening Heights

The NJSIAA Meet of Champions is scheduled to kick off this week at the Toms River Bubble bringing an end to the 2019 indoor in-state season, with many of our star athletes still scheduled to compete on even larger stages outside of New Jersey's borders. 

Here you will find start times, order of events, entries, and more. Expect live results, a live stream on FloTrack, interviews, pictures, and more on meet day. And if you haven't followed our coverage so far we've been to every single NJSIAA State Championship meet this season.

Order of Events

Thursday, February 21st at 4:00pm (Warm-up 3:00pm) - Long Jump Showcase

Saturday, February 23rd at 10:00am - Boys Meet

Sunday, February 24th at 10:00am - Girls Meet

1. 400 Meter Dash
2. 1600 Meter Run
3. 55 Meter Hurdles Trials
4. 55 Meter Dash Trials
5. 800 Meter Run
6. 200 Meter Dash Showcase (Lanes 1 and 2 remain open)
7. 55 Meter Hurdles Finals
8. 55 Meter Dash Finals
9. 3200 Meter Run
10. 4x400 Meter Relay
11. 4x800 Meter Relay

Field Events

• High Jump, each elevation at two inches. 
• Pole Vault, each elevation six inches. 
• Shot Put, will take place inside the Bubble. 
• *Remember that the Long Jump Showcase is on Thursday the 21st.

High Jump starting heights will be no higher than the 21st seed of the qualifiers from the group meets. Pole vault starting heights will be no higher than the 21st seed of the qualifiers from group meets. Note: The Meet Director reserves the right to adjust starting heights based on athletes information provided by the coaches
