The NJSIAA Group Championships will kick off this weekend on November 11th at Holmdel Park. Keep it on NJ MileSplit all week for full coverage including previews, statistics, live results, photos, videos, and analysis.

How do you advance? It is all explained right here.

  • The top 3 teams in each group advance.
  • The top 10 individuals in each group advance.
  • There will be 3 wildcard teams, these will be the three best total times for non-placing teams pertaining to their top five finishers. So in other words out of all the fourth, fifth, and sixth place teams, the three best total time performances for their scoring five will advance. Place is never overruled by time.
  • There will be 10 individual wildcards - The top 10 individuals from all the group races combined who have not qualified as of yet whether that be top 10 in their race, on a top 3 team, or a wild card team.


Parking for the Group Meets for both athletes and spectators on Nov. 11 will be at the Vonage facility, located on the corner of Route 4 (Holmdel Road) and County Road 520 (Newman Springs Road)

Use lots A and D. Shuttle buses will pick you up on the inside the lots on the road that circles the lots. This is the same procedure used last year. Note: Spectators will be asked to pay a $1.00 bus fee to help defray the cost of the shuttle buses. This fee will be collected at the Vonage parking lot only.
