Alyssa Wilson, the greatest thrower in New Jersey history, put together another great show in the circle on Friday by smashing the All-Groups meet record in the discus with a bomb of 176-6 at the NJSIAA Non-Public A Championships at Silver Eagle Stadium in Egg Harbor.

It's the fourth straight Non-Public A discus title for the UCLA-bound Wilson, who broke her own state record in the discus last month with a US #1 182-0.

Wilson, who owns the indoor and outdoor national records in the shot put, broke the All-Groups meet record of 172-2 set in 2004 by Jocelyn White of Delsea.

Wilson will be back in action in the shot put circle on Saturday when she aims to break her own U.S. high school outdoor record of 57-1 ¼. Wilson's personal best in the shot came this past winter when she unloaded a national indoor record 57-5 ½.
