Corey Poole continues to prove he can run faster and faster. At New Balance Nationals Indoor on Saturday Poole broke the state 60 meter hurdle record running 7.63 in prelims, en route to that distance he also lowered his own state standard in the 55 meter hurdles with a 7.08.
He is the second seed heading into the semi-finals which will run Sunday morning. The only faster time was Trey Cunningham who lowered his own national record with a 7.45, and set a new 55 meter hurdle national record running 6.92 en route.
This is going to be a very fast final.
