One of Old Bridge's current stars, in a long history of success, Rey Rivera has chosen his college for next fall. He made the announcement on twitter Tuesday night that he is now a verbal commit to Georgetown University. Jim Lambert of NJ Advanced Media also broke the news.
Rivera is a three time winner at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions in the 800 meter on the track. He also joined the cross country ranks his sophomore season and has turned into a success on the trails as well, just recently he won his second straight Greater Middlesex Conference title.
