We will be making a big push these coming weeks to complete the New Jersey cross country calendar for 2016. If you know your dates and have your information set please send it over to rkellert@milesplit.com. You should start to see the calendar flesh out in the coming days.
Details such as race orders and entry process are more than welcome, even if nothing changes year to year for coaches there are parents and fans who would love to see start times and know when their athletes will be competing.
If you only have a date set at this point still send it over so I can place it on the calendar as a placeholder.
Free Online Registration - Please Consider
Remember that New Jersey meets are free to use Online Registration without charge, if you have questions let me know at rkellert@milesplit.com and I'll walk you through setup. These can be set as simple or complex as you need for your meet.
Teams rosters are already online and seniors will automatically graduate off the active rosters. Coaches only have to add newcomers and freshmen if they haven't raced by the time they are entering a meet.
A large number of events made the switch this past spring and cross country's focus on only a few race distances will make a switch for first timers even easier! Plus this is an entry process that most coaches know at this point thanks to the NJSIAA's use of the feature.
If you know your way around registration you can even setup your own meet here, but again contact me if you have any questions and I would be glad to help set it up with you to make sure things are just right. *Note if you create a meet with the wizard I still have to approve it on my end so make sure you send me an email to give a heads up a meet has been created.
