Greg Pelose of Haddonfield Memorial made his verbal commitment on Friday night announcing Boston University as his future home. Along with his education he'll be continuing to run cross country and distance on the track.
Pelose is a Group 2 State Champion in the 1600m, winning this past spring's championship with a time of 4:15.10 (You can watch that great race here). So far this cross country season he's won the Briarwood Invitational division 2 race with a time of 16:44 and placed third among a talented field at the Bowdoin Classic running 16:25.
He took to twitter to thank his coaches and teammates along with his announcement. (Shown Below)
