Brandon Jarrett and Brian Leung led the way for the New Jersey contingent at the Foot Locker National Finals today at Balboa Park in San Diego. Jarrett put his stamp on his HS Cross Country career with a solid 6th place finish in the race, running 15:16 for the 5,000 meter course. Following across the line for NJ and the Northeast team was Brian Leung with a 15th place finish in 15:41. The third NJ boy in the race, Andrew Brodeur placed 38th with a time of 16:17.

Boys Summary: Underdog Fout Wins Boys Race
Girls
In the Girls Championship Race, sophomore Chelsea Ley ran 18:04 to take 18th while Katie McCafferty finished 28th in 18:36. Ley's 18th place provided the tie breaker to give the Northeast team the win.
