Don Danser the Assistant Director of the NJSIAA has Passed Away


Don Danser, who has been the head of state track and field events for many years, unfortunately passed away Monday morning at the age of 69. He was set to retire December of 2015 after serving as the NJSIAA Assistant Director since 2001.

He had been a fixture for New Jersey track and field through a number of decades and roles. A South Jersey Hall of Fame coach, a teacher, a meet director, a track and field official, and NJSIAA Assistant Director. Through the years always working to better the student athletes and the sport of track and field.

Don Danser did a great deal for New Jersey track and field. The future of the sport in this state from here on out will involve the ground work he laid down to place us among the best.
