Boys
Tom George of Shore Regional ran an awesome race winning his section with 17:41. His first ever sectional win. His team wouldn't put his one card to waste and followed up with a 43 point victory with an 18:12 average. This was the second all time sectional title, the original came in 2001.

Girls
Rachel Suss of Metuchen took home the Group 1 Central title with a time of 18:39, their first winner since 2007 when Elise Brevent won with a 19:49. This came after a battle with the two time repeating champion Kelly Shaffer of South Hunterdon who came in second with a time of 19:05.
Sweeeep for the Shore Regional teams, the girls followed up the boys title with one of their own scoring 35 points and posting an average of 21:39. This was their second straight title and their fifth all time.

Aaron Barlev makes it three straight individual titles for Holmdel winning with 16:00, his brother Dan Barlev won in 2013 with 16:14, and Jack Baisley in 2012 with 16:16.
The Voorhees boys who have been on fire all season won with 33 points and an average of 16:35. They were led by Chris Thompson in second with a time of 16:15!

Marin Warner won her second straight Central Group 2 title with a time of 18:19. She is on pace for a fantastic states season improving her on 2013 time of 18:37 and multiple personal best performances all fall.
The Rumson-Fair Haven girls took their fourth straight team title this time with 57 points and an average of 19:50. This was their seventh all time sectional win. They were led by senior Rachel Lehnert in third with a time of 18:53.

Boys
Conor Murphy won his first sectional title on Saturday running 16:17 to win by three seconds. He also brings home the first even individual sectional boys title to Allentown HS. His teammates will join him at Holmdel on Sunday as they qualified in fifth as a team.
The Colts Neck boys won their first sectional title since 2004 when Craig Forys led the squad and their third all time. They were led by Brad D'Antuno, a sophomore, who finished third with a time of 16:36. The team would finish out with 42 points and a team average of 16:54. Keep an eye out for this young team for the next few years with a lot of quality returners.

Grace Dwyer of Hamilton North won her third straight sectional title this time with an 18:42. She becomes just the 10th all time in the section to win three individual titles!
The Princeton girls won the team race with 28 points and a 19:53 average. Their first team title since 2010 and their third overall. They were led by Lou Miahle in third with a time of 19:32. Some great early pack running led to their victory.

With the fastest time of the meet Nikhil Pulimood of WWP South won the Group 4 individual title at 15:40. His first xc sectional title.
On the team side the South Brunswick boys led by Matt Zamorski in 4th wuth 16:00 won the Central Group 4 championship. They posted 47 points and a meet leading average of 16:19. This was their first team title since 1973 when they were in the Group 2 section!

Stephanie Mauer won her first sectionals title with a time of 18:36. She led her team to a second place finish as they all move onto groups.
The West Windsor Plainsboro South girls impressed on Saturday defeating a talented Hillsborough team 44 poinst to 55. The girls lead the meet with a team average of 19:28 and their leading time was second place Christina Rancan who posted an 18:54. Their second straight and second all time sectional title!
