Freedom Division

Girls Results - Unranked Northern Highlands took down NJ#7 Ridgewood in the Freedom Division 34 to 35! The Northern Highlands girls were led by an amazing performance from Catherine Pagano who took first with a time of 17:49, 18 seconds ahead of the talented Julia Guerra of Indian Hills who ran 18:07, she is also one of the top runners in the state.
This team battle must have been exciting to watch. Ridgewood wouldn't give up without a fight after Pagano's one card as they went 3-4 thanks to Sam Halvorsen (R1) and Carleen Jeffers (R2) running 18:16 and 18:36. Northern Highlands answered 5-6 with Monica Hebner (NH2), 18:50, and Jodi Hinchen (NH3), 19:26. Ridgewood then evened up with Olympia Martin (R3) in 7th running 19:30. The score after three runners each totaled 12 to 14 in favor of Norther Highlands.
Northern Highlands' fourth runner Isabel Hebner crossed at 19:46 followed by three Ridgewood athletes! In 10th Abby Taylor (R4), 20:03, 11th Meghan Adams (R5) 20:10, and 12th Kelly Cleary 20:14. At this point Ridgewood had all of their top five in with 35 points and could have won the meet there if it weren't for a strong finish by Northern Highlands fifth runner Veronica Mahler in 13th with a 20:19! One more place and the victory would have went to Ridgewood. (All number five runners rejoice!) The score was settled 34 to 35 with Northern Highlands on top.

Boys Results - On the boys side unranked Ridgewood would taste the sweet glory of victory after a duel with NJ#6 Indian Hills 30 to 32. In fact both these teams took up the top seven spots in the race. The race was won individually by Matt Tuohy of Indian Hills with a time of 16:07. The Ridgewood boys would hold strong though as they scored 2-3-5-6-14 for the win. Ridgewood was led by Nick Barnabic in second with 16:12. Also breaking 16:20 was his teammate Ken Marshall in third with 16:17!
National Division

Girls Results - Veronica Rocco of Tenafly won the National Division with a time of 19:18, 45 seconds ahead of second place Olivia Randolph of Teaneck who posted a time of 20:03. Team wise Northern Valley Old Tappan had the title with 46 points and a team average of 21:07. They were led by Courtney Brunet in third with a time of 20:12 and scored 3-7-9-13-14.

Boys Results - Old Tappan's James Weissenborn won the division with a time of 16:07 and a large margin of victory. Pascack Valley won the team title however led by second place Nurlan Herburger who posted a 16:22, teammate Jake Denbeaux also cracked the top ten placing fourth with a time of 16:37. Pascack Valley scored 55 points with a team average of 17:12.
THURSDAY
American Division

Girls Results - Cliffside Park won the team title with a dominant 22 points performance. Scoring 1-2-5-6-8, Cliffside was led by Jennifer Polo in first with a time of 20:19, in second teammate Daniela Rodriquez with a time of 21:31. The team average was 22:01.

Boys Results - Cliffside swept the American Division as both the boys and girls take the team titles as well as the individual titles. This time Cliffside's Adham Ziyadeh won the race with a time of 16:38, in fact Cliffside swept the top three as Harley Ruiz and Gulraiz Hashmi took second and third with times of 17:27 and 17:29. Cliffside averaged 17:35 and scored 1-2-3-7-11 for 24 points.
Patriot Division

Girls Results - River Dell's Shannon Goria won the meet individually with a time of 20:13 leading her team to a second place finish. Ramsey took the team title with 30 points scoring 2-4-5-6-13. They were led by second place Victoria Clinton who ran 20:19, following her were teammates Megan Johnston 4th 20:29, Elizabeth Flood 5th 20:50, Abigail Zammitti 6th 20:56, and Erinn McHahan 13th 21:34.

Boys Results - River Dell won the team title led by William and Colin Daly who went one and two with time of 15:57.01 and 15:57.43! Also in the top ten for River Dell was Patrick Robertson in fourth with a time of 16:23. They would score 30 points going 1-2-4-9-14 and posted an average of 16:31.
United Division

Girls Results - The Immaculate Heart Academy girls took the win with 23 points scoring 1-2-4-6-10 and running a team average of 19:35. They were led by Colleen Buckley in first with a time of 18:39 and Giavanna Tabbachino in second with a time of 18:52.

Boys Results - NJ#5 Don Bosco swept the top six for a perfect score of 15 points. They had a team average of 16:07 led by Justin Fuhrman who won with a time of 15:57. Right behind him teammate Connor Nicholson with a 15:58. Closing the perfect top five was Zack Weland third 16:12, Alex Zeepvat fourth 16:13, and William McNicholas fifth with 16:15.
Friday
Independence Division

Girls Results - Wayne Hills swept the boys and girls Independence division titles, as a team the girls squad averaged 21:07 and scored 44 points for the win. They were led by Taylor Domico in third with a time of 20:14. The individual title went to a Wayne Valley running, Erin Callaghan clocked 20:07 to win individually.

Boys Results - Wayne Valley's Adam Herskovits won the individual title with a time of 16:12. It was a different Wayne that won the team title though as Wayne Hills outscored everyone with 30 points (2-3-7-8-10) and a team average of 16:47. They were led by Rishi Jashnani in second with a time of 16:21 and George Gakin in third with a time of 16:31.
Liberty Division

Girls Results - The girls race was won individually by Michelle Kubasek of Bergen County Tech running a time of 18:54, 18 seconds ahead of second. The team title went to Clifton who scored 34 points to Bergen Tech's 36. Clifton scored 2-6-7-8-11 and were led by Meghan Jozefczyk who ran 19:12 for second place.

Boys Results - Passaic County VT won the Liberty Division team title with 32 points and a team average of 17:15. They were led by Tarin Nelson in second with a time of 16:45 and Alejandro Ibarguen in fourth with 17:00. Individually Mauricio Nazario of Passaic won with a time of 16:32, about 13 seconds ahead of second.
