Ocean County Park's "track times" hit these rankings hard but athletes at the top are still there for a reason. CBA's Drake Anzano won the sophomore race at the Battle at Ocean County Park and then came back the next weekend to place 8th in a varsity like JV race at the Bowdoin XC Classic with a time of 17:44. Marc Meltzer of Cherry Hill East challenged him at Ocean County Park running 2nd at 15:56. Looking at other meet leading times Maxwell McVicar of Mount Olive posted 16:33 at the Roxbury Invitational and Rey Rivera of Old Bridge posted a 16:48 at the Central Jersey Shootout.
