The record setting Columbia HS team ran under the team name of Team FitFast , with a 2:06 split on the final 800m leg by Olivia Baker. It's like their special sauce.
The previous record was set at 3:51.90 in 2007 by Eleanor Roosevelt of Greenbelt, MD (A. Charles, D. Anyanwu, Takecia Jameson, M. Walker)
