Camden Boys, East Orange Girls Lead Millrose Q

The Camden HS boy's 4x400m Relay team clocked 3:22.3 to lead qualifiers for the Suburban race at the 100th Millrose Games next month. Camden's effort was capped of by a 49.3 anchor by Sherman Goree, the fastest split of the day. The Tornadoes of Trenton Central will also be going to the Garden by taking 2nd in 3:24.7. In all 10 teams went under 3:30 at the special trials meet, held at Seton Hall University.
In the Girls trials, East Orange Campus went 4:00.1 to nip Woodrow Wilson of Camden (4:01.6). Racquel Vassell led the E.O. team with the fasted split of the day at 57.3. These 2 teams staged a thrilling duel at last years MIllrose event with East Orange (3:57.46) prevailing over Wilson (3:58.33)
