Ashley Higginson won Individual honors today as she led the Colts Neck Girls to a 4th place finish at the Nike Team Nationals (NTN) in Portland Oregon.
Higginson, the Princeton bound senior, ran 19:18.4 over the 5,000 meter course to take the win.The Cougar Girls scored an even 200 points in securing their top 5 finish at this national championship event.. Soph Briana Jackucewicz followed Higginson with a time of 19:52.1 for 11th place. Allison Donaghy, a junior, took 41st in 20:47 with senior Kristen O\'Dowd (67th, 21:16.5) and junior Erin Donaghy (81st, 21:32.5) rounding out tne scoring. Completing the Colts Neck squad were sophs, Allie Flott (96th, 21:53.5) and Morgan Clark (134th, 23:10.0)
In Boys action, 2 New Jersey squads traveled to the meet to run in the Open event. MOC champions, Jackson Memorial took 6th place overall with Kris Carle finishing in 8th place (16:55.1), while MOC 3rd place finishers Haddonfield ended their season with a 17th place showing. Haddonfield was led by Matt Golia\'s 37th place finish (17:33.7).
