On the girls side Josette Norris of Tenafly sets the course record with impressive fashion running a 17:36 which was 43 seconds faster than the next fastest time run that day! Norris won the Varsity B race with that time here is the full list of Varsity race winners.
Girls Varsity A
Sam Halvorsen of Ridgewood took this race in a time of 18:54, she would lead her team to a 25 point victory! Her teammate Carleen Jeffers two seconds behind her at 18:56, followed by Vanessa Reis (19:12), Kelly Cleary (19:30) and Olympia Martin (19:41) who close the team's Top 5 in 5th, 7th, and 10th place! Ridgewood girls team average finished at 19:14! Immaculate Heart lead by Erin Ahearn (3rd, 19:00) and Northern Highlands lead by Catherin Pagano (8th, 19:34) took up second and third in the team standings.
Girls Varsity B
Josette Norris of Tenafly as mentioned above brought the pain to this Darlington Park course setting the new course record at 17:36! She was followed by another highly impressive 18:19 provided by Julia Guerra of Indian Hills and Norris's teammate Veronica Rocco in third with an 18:46.
In the team race however despite the early finishers for Tenafly and Indian Hills the talented Academy of Holy Angels squad would find victory with 38 points to Indian Hills' 78 and Tenafly's 96. The Holy Angels posted a 4-7-8-9-10 performance averaging 19:35! They were led by Lydon Kersting in fourth with 19:06 and then starting at seventh place the girls ripped four straight scorers!! What a pack! Marry Watters, 19:33, Margaret Sheehan, 19:42, Julia Spaar, 19:47, and Ciara Rhodes, 19:48, helped finalize that victory. The Holy Angel's sixth runner wasn't too far off scoring for their team either sitting in 12th with a time of 20:02.

Girls Varsity C
In Varsity C Katie Sullivan of Rutherford posted 19:05 to win individually and her one point performance would help her team finish second in the race. After Westwood's senior Corinne Myers took second in 19:18, Victoria Clinton would set the groundwork for a Ramsey team victory. Clinton took third with a time of 19:36, her team would then take 5-7-11-12 and post a team average of 20:38.
Girls Varsity D
Dwight-Englewood senior Hannah Jerome won the Varsity D race individually with a time of 19:47 followed by Palisades Park's sophomore Arianna Lopez who also broke 20 minutes at 19:57.
The team race was very close going to "Overtime" as Cresskill and Bogota battled it out scoring 55 apiece through the top five. Bogota was led by sophomore Jillian O'Brien in third with 20:20, Cresskill was led by fourth place Reina Tamura at 20:23. This race went to the sixth runners though and Cresskill's Maryam Hassan took 17th at 21:53 beating out Bogota's sixth runner who took 22nd.
Now onto the boys where we witnessed Don Bosco unleashing their fury on the Boys Varsity A race.
Boys Varsity A
Don Bosco boys whollop the Varsity A field sweeping the top three and finishing out their top five strong. This winning effort consisted of a 1-2-3-6-9 performance with a team average of 15:54!!! Don Bosco was led by junior Bobby Gonzalez and Mike Higgins who went one and two both finishing at a time of 15:44. Patrick Sullivan took third at 15:53, Connor Nicholson sixth at 16:02, and Zack Weland ninth at 16:07!
Individually there were two others who broke 16 minutes to deserve mention, Old Tappan's Ian Clarke placed fourth at 15:57 and Hackensack's Chris Nicholson took fifth at 15:59!
Boys Varsity B
Some impressive times popped up in the Varsity Boys B as well, leading the pack was Mahwah senior James Buser who hit 15:45 and in second Matt Tuohy of Indian Hills a 15:46! There were six boys to break 16 minutes in this race the rest consisted of: Colin Daly of River Dell, 15:54, Bobby Corcoran of Indian Hills, 15:55, Kevin Rogovich of Demarest, 15:56, and lastly Riverdell's William Daly running 15:59. A really tight finish from place three to six, must have been exciting to see.
Indian Hills boys post a 2-4-7-10-15 (38 point) performance and average a time of 16:12 to take the team victory by over a 40 point lead!
Boys Varsity C
Onto the boys Varsity C race, this one was won individually by Paul Antonick of Westwood who set a personal best in the 5k with a 16:22!
After that Ramsey senior Patrick Watters set the tone for his team taking second in 16:31. Ramsey would go on to win with 43 points (2-8-10-11-12) and a team average of 16:59.
Boys Varsity D
Another personal best in the Varsity D race set by the winner Marc Rosenberg, a senior from Dwight-Englewood who ran 16:26. In the team race Bogota boys would avenge the girl's squad by beating out Cresskill 54 to 66. Bogota was led by junior Quinn Geraghty at 16:54 in fourth place. The team would go 4-10-11-12-17 and have a team average of 17:22.
