Moscow - Ajee Wilson (19) broke Mary Cain's recent US Junior Record in the 800m after a bold move on the outside to come back from behind to a 6th place finish at World Championships! This young woman is the real deal!
Also in this race a first for US women in the 800m at World Champs, placing for a medal, was Brenda Martinez who took third place for the bronze after a hard fought kick and a close finish. Great work!
