Full Results | Race VideosHere is the race video from the rerun of the girls South Group 2 3200m on Wednesday evening. After a few days of growing anticipation the points stood with Seneca at 56, Delsea 54, Haddonfield 45 and this competition was set decide the sectional team title. This rerun wasn't planned excitement however, the unfortunate result of miscounted laps during Sunday's Sectional meet. It was probably the most exciting 3200m race I have ever coached, but the girls managed to get the job done today for a close sectional title! So proud of all of these girls! Congrats to Sterling, Haddonfield, and Delsea on a great race today! #sjstrong @NJMileSplit @SJTrack pic.twitter.com/FEIcoDqneV— Seneca XC & Track (@SenecaXCTrack) February 7, 2018 Madison Coppolino of Sterling won the race with a time of 11:35.38, she is the defending Group 2 Champion and was third at last winter's Meet of Champions. The team scoring started with freshman Payton Weiner of Haddonfield in second at 11:41 and her teammate Izzy Miller third only a split second behind for a combined 14 points. Emma Klouchek and Carley Tool of Seneca answered with a fourth and fifth place finish to bring their team's meet total to 62 and effectively sealed the deal for their squad. After Lilly Sirover of Haddonfield finished the Group qualifiers in sixth the final team scores went as follows: Seneca 62, Haddonfield 60, Delsea 54, Sterling 47.
