GSTC Announces College Ave. Mile
On June 10th, the Garden State Track Club will host the College Ave Mile, a celebration of our sport's most exciting event: the mile. Held on the flat, fast, and historic College Avenue on the Rutgers University campus in New Brunswick, the three hour event will have 12 races total. There are three race categories: youth (14 and under), elite (high school, open, masters, seniors), and time (sub-5:00 heat, 5:00-5:20 heat, etc.).
The process is simple for high school runners: submit your entries on-line, and the top 20 are placed in the elite high school race. All others are placed in appropriate heats based on seed time. The top 10 males and females in each of the 12 heats medal, and the winners of every heat get a discounted pair of shoes from the Sneaker Factory!
