The Union Catholic Vikings almost put down a perfect team score at their county relay championship this weekend... yes their championship. The girls scored 78 points winning every event but the shot put relay in which they took second to Rahway, a difference of three feet eight inches
To make it even more impressive, this was done without the state's all-star athlete Sydney McLaughlin who is looking to start her season a little later with summer trials in mind.
The squad holds the state lead on SIX track relays, all seven when looking at the Non-Public A rankings. We could see some special performances on Saturday from this talented UC roster.
