Dual Meets?! Want Your Dual Meet Results on MileSplit?

Let's work together to create an online centralized location for dual meet results!

If single meets, divisions, or leagues want them posted I will create meet pages and enter those results onto athlete profiles. The performances will be marked as dual meet performances so we don't have to worry about them entering the main rankings or being used for state meet seeds during track and field. They will update personal best and career stats for the athletes involved and it would be great to see team records.

The main hurdle is all about results.

To handle so many duals and tri-meet performances they need to come in formatted to enter the system. Here is how that can happen, unless you are already hiring one of our many talented timing companies.

  • Download RaceTab and install if you are handling the results. (Program only for PC sad
  • If you don't want to use RaceTab or cannot due to using a Mac then here is an excel sheet for results. RaceTab is so much easier for you with autofill and scoring once you try it though.
  • You can also use Hytek if you have it.
  • Follow this Video Tutorial on how to setup a small cross country meet on RaceTab.
  • Use the download rosters feature to autofill most of  the names and teams for your meet. (Will go so much quicker!)
  • Enter the top results or all of the results, please include the team scores at the bottom
  • If you don't have all of the results entered and only place top results please include the scoring and team records in your email.

When your results are all settled send an email with this information to rkellert@milesplit.com

  • The results (These need to be in either HTML from RaceTab or Hytek, a notepad file published from RaceTab, or the excel sheet.)
  • When the meet was
  • Where the meet was
  • Which school hosted it
  • The team scores and win loss records
  • Any other information you can provide.

Together we can make one central place for all of the dual meet results around the state!  At the end of each week I will post a Dual Meet Central article posting every result sent in.

If all the steps are done and correctly formatted results are sent in I will enter them onto the athlete profiles.

Additional Information

You can also add the meets to the calendar yourself.

Create the Dual Meet

  • If you are a coach then Claim your team on MileSplit.
  • Go to Team Manager and add your dual meets to the calendar.
  • Label them Dual Meet: Home School vs Away School (vs Third) if a tri-meet and so on.
  • You will have to create the meet and make sure it is marked as a dual. Remember you can search to see if the meet already exists!
  • If you are the host team you can upload the results yourself. I'll explain in the next part.
