September 10, 2011 at the St. Dominic Academy Invitational at Lincoln Park the Marauders opened up the cross country season in style. Freshmen Bennett Wong (3rd in 13:13.79) and Alex Alberti (4th in 13:18.97) led the freshmen team to a 2nd place finish. March 31, 2011 St. Peter's Prep High School gave its annual School Spirit Awards and two graduating seniors were amongst the ten awards given out are members of the track team. Seniors Charlie Bates and Doug Payne were honored in front of the entire student body today. July 4, 2010 Sophomore Ryan McGann and his father, Ron McGann won the Firecracker 4 Mile in Cranford in the Father-Son division. About Our Team

March 31, 2012 The Kearny Relays at Kearny High School was highlighted by the 1st place finish of the Freshmen-Sophomore relay in the Distance Medley. Sophomore Fritz Heinrich led off in 3:26.7, a personal best, in the 1200 meter leg and the team never looked back. Freshman Nathaniel Soliven ran 59.7 also a personal best in the 400 meters followed by Freshman Declan Wollard in the 800 meter leg in 2:20 and anchored by Sophomore Chris Butko on the 1600 meter leg in 5:01 for a team time of 11:49.

April 4, 2012 For the first time in many, many years, St. Peter's Prep competed in a dual meet between Ferris HS and the Marauders. The meet was held at the Ferris HS track which was also the first time competition was held there. In the first event, it soon showed the power of the sprint team with a 1-2-3 finish in the 200 meters. Junior Randall Wall was 1st in 24.1 closely followed by Sophomore Jon Hilliman also in 24.1 and Senior JR Robinson in 24.7. Freshman Minkah Fitzpatrick was a very close 4th in 24.8. The other Marauder times were Junior Gabe Gonzalez in 25.3, Sophomore Danny Arroyo in 25.8, Sophomore Barrington Bennett in 25.9, Freshman Steven Sprofera in 26.8, Freshman Anthony Sabia in 26.9 and Freshman Vinny Margliotta in 29.0.

The next event was the 800 meters and once again it was a rout. The Marauders went 1-2-3 with Sophomores Fritz Heinrich in 1st with a personal best of 2:08, Chris Butko was 2nd in 2:10 and Danny Apicella was 3rd in 2:11. Sophomores David DeLeon was 4th in 2:14 and Jimmy Sause was 5th in 2:19. Freshman Christian Gallardo ran 2:21, Sophomore Charlie Smith in a personal best ran 2:23, Sophomore Andrew Smythe also in a personal best ran 2:23, Freshman Bennett Wong ran a personal best of 2:24, Freshman Ian Michelin ran a personal best of 2:24, Freshman Ken Creer ran a personal best of 2:27, Freshman Alex Alberti ran a personal best of 2:30 and Freshman Jack Campbell ran a personal best of 2:37.

In the shot put, Senior Keon Williams threw 36' to place 3rd. Junior Kurt Espiritu was 4th in 34' 8.5", Sophomore John Marano threw 28' 3", Freshman Steven Sprofera threw 26' 6.5" and Sophomore Delano Smalls threw 26'.

In the 400 meters, it was a sweep again. Junior Randall Wall was 1st in 55.2, Freshman Minkah Fitzpatrick was 2nd in 55.5 and Sophomore Jon Hilliman was 3rd in 56.5. Sophomore Danny Arroyo was 4th in 56.9 and Freshman Nathaniel Soliven was 5th in 58.4. Freshman Anthony Sabia ran 58.8 and Sophomore Barrington Bennett ran also 58.8 while Sophomore Austin Armon ran 61.5.

April 9, 2012 At the St. Dominic Academy Invitational at Lincoln Park in Jersey City, the Marauders set the tone for the meet right away in the 3200 meter relay that combined Frosh - Sophomores and Varsity in one race. The Varsity team of Sophomores Chris Butko (2:11.25), Fritz Heinrich (2:11.51), and Danny Apicella (2:11.77) handed off to Junior Ryan McGann (2:05.47) with the lead and Ryan never looked back for the victory in 8:40.0. In the Sophomore relay again, Jimmy Sause (2:18.6), Andy Smythe (2:28.5), David DeLeon (2:18.3) and Charlie Smith (2:25.6) took the gold with a 1st place finish in 9:31. The freshmen team of Christian Gallardo (2:26.6), Ken Creer (2:29.3), Bennett Wong (2:31.7) and Hayden Criollo (2:22.4) were 3rd in 9:50. The 1st place teams also win SDA Champion T-Shirts that they all proudly wear.

In the 100 meter dash, it was an almost all Marauder finish with 1st place going to Senior Dwayne "DJ" Singleton in 11.3, 3rd place was Sophomore Jon Hilliman in 11.7, 4th place was Senior JR "Junior" Robinson in 11.9 and 6th place was Senior Dashawn Putman in 12.1. Junior Tre Bell was 12.1 also in the preliminary trials. In the freshmen 100 meters, Minkah Fitzpatrick was 1st in 11.9 and Anthony Sabia was 6th in 12.8. In the preliminary trials Stephen Sprofera ran 13.3 and Vinny Miragliotta ran 14.1.

April 11, 2012 Senior Dashawn Putman was selected to compete in the high jump at the Penn Relays. This is the first time in school history that an individual has been picked to represent St. Peter's and the Marauders in the Penn Relays. There are only 24 jumpers selected for this prestigious meet.

April 12, 2012 The Hudson County Interscholastic Athletic League Relays Championship at Limcoln Park in Jersey City started off with the greatest performance in St. Peter's Prep history in the long jump with Senior Dashawn Putman jumping 20' 9" and Sophomore Jon Hilliman jumping 20' 5" to set a school record in the long jump relay of 41' 2". This is the 2nd best in New Jersey currently and a Hudson County record. Dashawn's jump is the 9th best in New Jersey this season. Jon's is 12th best in the state.

In the discus, Senior Keon Williams threw 104' and Sophomore Eamonn Dwyer threw 87' 10' to take 4th place in the relay. In the javelin, Junior Gabe Gonzalez threw 108' and Sophomore Eamonn Dwyer threw 89' in the relay to take 7th place overall.

In the Freshmen shot put, Minkah Fitzpatrick threw 35' and Stephen Sprofera threw 29' to take 2nd place in the relay.

April 14, 2012 The St. Peter's Prep 4x1600 meter relay team set a new school record by winning the first event of the day. Sophomores Chris Butko led off in a personal best of 4:41.56, followed by Junior Ryan McGann with a 4:34.50, next was Sophomore Fritz Heinrich in a personal best 4:39.79 and achored by Sophomore Dan Apicella in another personal best of 4:51.56 for a 18:47.41. This time is the 3rd fastest in the State of New Jersey so far this season.

In the 4 x 100 meter relay, Senior Dashawn Putman, Sophomore Jon Hilliman , Freshman Minkah Fitzpatrick and Senior Najee Glass won the gold with a 43.8 1st place finish. In the 4 x 200 meter relay, the same results with same team in 1:31.4.

In the distance medley, Senior Ryan McGann ran the 1200 meters in 3:21.94, Freshman Minkah Fitzpatrick was 52.94 in the 400 meter leg, Senior Najee Glass ran 2:10.81 in the 800 meters and Sophomore Fritz Heinrich anchored the 1600 meter leg in 4:42.01 for a combined time of 11:07.7 and a 2nd place finish.In the sprint medley relay, Junior Gabe Gonzalez ran 26.12 for 200 meters, Junior Tre Bell ran 23.53 for 200 meters, Sophomore Jon Hilliman ran 53.97 for 400 meters and Sophomore Chris Butko ran 2:06.08 for 800 meters for a 3rd place finish in 3:49.7. In the intermediate hurdle relay, Junior Randall Wall ran 60.32, Sophomore Barrington Bennett ran 65.53 and Sophomore Danny Arroyo ran 69.75 to take 4th place in 3:15.6. In the shuttle hurdle relay, Junior Randall Wall, Sophomores Danny Arroyo, Mikhail Harvey and Barrington Bennett were 3rd place overall in 1:14.2.

In the high jump relay, Dashawn Putman and Eamonn Dwyer won the gold and 1st place in 11' 6". In the shot put, Junior Kurt Espiritu and Sophomore John Marano were 6th in 65' 9.5".

In the freshmen 4 x 800 meter relay, Christian Gallardo ran 2:18.91 a personal best, Bennett Wong ran 2:19.75 a personal best, Ian Michelin ran 2:21.69 a personal best and Declan Wollard anchored in 2:16.93 to finish 1st overall in 9:17.28. In the freshmen distance medley, Hayden Criollo ran 3:47.5 for the 1200 meters, Ken Creer ran 66.2 for the 400 meters, Alex Alberti ran 2:26.4 for the 800 meters and Declan Wollard ran 5:05.8 for the 1600 meters in 12:25.9 for a 3rd place finish. In the 4 x 200 meter relay, Athony Sabia, Nat Soliven, Vinny Miragliotta and Steven Sprofera ran 1:50.9 to take 5th place. In the sprint medley, Anthony Sabia, Vinny Miragliotta, Nat Soliven and Bennett Wong took 2nd place in 4:14.9. In the shot put, Minkah Fitzpatrick and Steven Sprofera took 2nd place overall with a combined throw of 69' 6".

April 20-21 The New York Relays at Randall's Island saw Senior Najee Glass set the meet record in the 400 meters with a time of 46.74 to take 1st place. In the 200 meters again it was Najee with the gold medal in 21.44. These are the fastest times in New Jersey so early in the season.

April 21, 2012 The Hudson County Track Coaches Association Relays Championship saw a 2nd place finish in the Varsity 4 x 100 meter relay in a combined time of 44.5 with Senior Dwayne "DJ" Singleton, Senior JR Robinson, Sophomore John Hilliman and Freshman Minkah Fitzpatrick.

In the Varsity Distance Medley with Admissions Director John Irvine in the stands saw the Marauders cruise to an easy victory with a time of 10:49.5. This time is the 21st fastest in New Jersey so far this season. Sophomore Fritz Heinrich led off in a personal best 3:19.88 for the 1200 meter leg, followed by Senior Dashawn Putman in 53.28 in the 400 meter leg, Sophomore Chris Butko was 2:05.19 a personal best in the 800 meters and Senior Ryan McGann in 4:31.95 in the 1600 meter anchor leg to win the gold medals. In the Sophomore Distance Medley, David DeLeon ran a personal best 3:39.44 for the 1200 meters, Mikhail Harvey ran 60.19 for the 400 meters, Charlie Smith ran 2:21.56, a personal best for the 800 meters and Jimmy Sause ran 4:58.41 for the 1600 meter leg to place 3rd place overall. In the Freshmen Distance Medley, Hayden Criollo ran 3:43 for the 1200 meter leg, followed by Alex Alberti in 70.0 for the 400 meters, Ian Michelin ran 2:21.0 for the 800 meters and Declan Wollard ran 5:08 for the 1600 meters to place 3rd overall in 12:22.

In the Sophomore 4x800 meter relay, David DeLeon ran 2:16.38, Charlie Smith in a personal best ran 2:21.03, Fritz Heinrich ran 2:07.12 a personal best and Chris Butko ran 2:12.97 to place 3rd overall in 8:57.50. In the Freshmen 4x800 meter relay, Ian Michelin ran 2:25.65, Alex Alberti ran 2:31.12, Hayden Criollo ran 2:23.18 and Declan Wollard ran 2:17.10 to finish 3rd overall in 9:37.05.

In the shot put relay, Senior Dwayne "DJ" Singleton threww 38' 8" and Senior Keon Williams threw 36' 8" for a combined 75' 4". In the long jump relay, Sophomore Jon Hilliman had a jump of 20' while Senior Dashawn Putman jumped 19' 9.5" to take 2nd place overall in 39' 9.5". In the discus relay, Senior Keon William threw 89' while Sophomore John Marano threw 72' 1".

April 27, 2012 The Penn Relays Carnival saw the Marauders take 2nd place in their heat in 44.43. The team consisted of Senior Dwayne Singleton, Senior JR Robinson, Sophomore Jon Hilliman and Senior Najee Glass.

April 28, 2012 The Penn Relays Carnival showed the Marauders versatility when faced with an injury. Senior JR Robinson who was not scheduled to run the 400 meter leg on the 4x400 meter relay running the third leg came through with a personal best and 2nd fastest on the team this season with a 52.7 time to place 4th in their heat in 3:37.67. Junior Randall Wall 55.0, Freshman Minkah Fitzpatrick 55.0 and Senior Dashawn Putman 55.0 rounded out the team.

April 28, 2012 The Randolph Relays at Randolph HS saw the Marauders break a school record in the 4 x 1600 meter relay with a 2nd place finish in 18:42.23 and establish a time that is nationally recognized on Milesplit as 2nd Team All American. Sophomore Chris Butko led off in 4:44.92, Junior Ryan McGann ran 4:31.69, followed by Sophomore Fritz Heinrich in 4:40.69 and anchored in a personal best of 4:45.03 by Sophomore Danny Apicella. This is the 16th fastest in this event in New Jersey.

In the Distance Medley relay, Sophomore Jimmy Sause ran 3:34.88 for the 1200 meter leg, followed by Sophomore Charlie Smith in 61.62 for the 400 meters, next was Freshman Declan Wollard in 2:15.35 and anchored by Sophomore David DeLeon in 5:13.29 for the 1600 meter leg for a team time of 12:04.14.

April 30, 2012 The Jersey City Outdoor Track Championship at Lincoln Park saw a number of personal best performances by upperclassmen and freshmen. In the Varsity shot put, Senior Keon Williams in a personal best threw 39' to take 4th place while Junior Kurt Espiritu threw 38' 9" to place 5th. In the javelin, Junior Gabe Gonzalez was 2nd in 113' 2" while Sophomore Eamonn Dwyer was 5th with a throw of 83' 5". In the discus, Senior Keon Williams was 4th with a 99' 5.5" toss while Sophomore Eamonn Dwyer was 5th with a 92' 8" throw and Sophomore John Marano threw 78' 10" for a 6th place finish. In the long jump Sophomore Jon Hilliman jumped 18' 1" for 1st place and Senior Dashawn Putman jumped 17' 9" to take 2nd place. St. Peter's leads the meet going into tomorrow's events with 40 points.

In the freshmen events, Steven Sprofera threw 60' 7.5" in the discus to take 6th place. He came back in the shot put with a personal best throw of 39' 11.5" to take 2nd place. In the long jump with three personal bests, Anthony Sabia jumped 16' 2" to place 2nd followed by Hayden Criollo in 3rd place with a 15' 4.5" jump and a 4th place by Declan Wollard with a jump of 15' 2.5" jump. Again with two personal bests, Vinny Miragliotta threw 86' 8" to take 1st place in the javelin and Alex Alberti threw 64' 9" for a 3rd place finish.

May 1, 2012 St. Peter's Prep won the Jersey City Outdoor Varsity Track and Field Championship at Lincoln Park in Jersey City. In the running events today Junior Ryan McGann won in a personal best the 3200 meter run in 9:52.6 and then came back to win the 1600 meter run in 4:39.8 to seal the victory. Ryan's time is the 3rd fastest in New Jersey so far this season. The 3200 meter run also had another two personal best times with Sophomores Fritz Heinrich who took 4th place in 10:09.8 and Jimmy Sause in 6th place in 10:37.2. Fritz's time is the 8th fastest in New Jersey so far this season. Fritz Heinrich was 2nd in the 1600 meter run in 4:42.0 for a 1-2 finish. Sophomore Charlie Smith also ran a personal best in the 1600 meters in 5:07.6 for 7th place. In the 800 meters, another two personal bests with a 2nd place finish by Sophomore Chris Butko in 2:02.8 and Sophomore Dan Apicella in 2:04.7 for 5th place. Sophomore David DeLeon ran 2:17.7 in his 800 meter run. Chris's time is currently the 7th fastest in New Jersey and 3rd as a Sophomore.

In the 400 meter hurdles, Sophomore Chris Butko running his very first race in this event was 3rd in 61.3. Sophomores Barrington Bennett was 5th in 63.1 in a personal best and Mikhail Harvey was 6th in 67.3 also a personal best. In the 100 meter dash, Senior Dwayne Singleton was 3rd in 11.5, Sophomore Jon Hilliman was 4th in 11.8 and Senior JR Robinson was 5th in 11.9. In the 100 meter hurdles, Sophomores Barrington Bennett was 3rd in 17.3 and Mikhail Harvey was 5th after falling down and recovering in 23.4. In the 400 meter run, Senior JR Robinson was 2nd in a personal best in 52.3. In the 200 meters, Sophomore Jon Hilliman was 3rd in 23.5 and Junior Gabe Gonzalez was 6th in a personal best in 24.3. In the high jump, Senior Dashawn Putman was 1st with a jump of 5' 10" and Sophomore Eamonn Dwyer was 2nd with a jump of 5' 8". In the 1600 meter relay, the Sophomore team of Chris Butko (56.1), Dan Apicella (59.1), Fritz Heinrich (58.8) and Jon Hilliman (53.5) to take 3rd place in 3:47.5.

In the freshmen 400 meter hurdles, Declan Wollard was 2nd in 67.7 while Prince Bush was 5th in 72.3 both personal bests. Vinny Miragliotta ran 81.1 in his race. In the 3200 meter run, there were three personal bests with Alex Alberti who ran 11:05.9 for 3rd place, Bennett Wong ran 11:22.8 for 5th place and Ian Michelin ran 11:58.7 for 7th place. In the 100 meters, Minkah Fitzpatrick was 1st in 11.9 and Steven Sprofera was 6th in 13.1. In the 400 meters, Nat Soliven was 1st in 55.9 while Prince Bush was 3rd in 57.5. In the 800 meter run, Declan Wollard was 2nd in 2:12.8 while Ken Creer was in a personal best 5th in 2:24.4 and Christian Gallardo was 6th in 2:27.3. In the 1600 meter run, Bennett Wong ran 5:29.5 for 6th place, Ian Michelin ran 5:34.7 and Alex Alberti ran 5:48.0. In the 200 meters, Minkah Fitzpatrick was 1st in 24.2 and Anthony Sabia was 5th in 26.0. In the 1600 meter relay, Nat Soliven, Prince Bush, Minkah Fitzpatrick and Declan Wollard was 1st in 3:54.8.

May 5, 2012 The Montclair Frosh-Sophomore Relays at Woodman Field in Montclair saw a number of personal best times some by runners twice during the meet. In the 4 x 800 meter relay, the Marauders won both the Freshmen and Sophomore race. The teams ran in the same race amongst 18 teams and finished 1st and 3rd overall. The freshmen beat 12 Sophomore teams. Sophomores Jimmy Sause running a leadoff 2:11.35, a personal best by 5 seconds, was followed by Charlie Smith at 2:19.21, a personal best, next up was Dan Apicella in 2:08.85 and anchored by Chris Butko in a BLAZING 2:03.12 to place 1st in 8:42.53. In the freshmen race, Ian Michelin in a personal best ran 2:17.6, Hayden Criollo ran 2:18.2, Declan Wollard ran 2:13.2 and Christian Gallardo ran 2:19.4 to take 1st in 9:08.4.

In the Distance Medley relay, the Marauders duplicated their results by winning both the Freshmen and Sophomore races. In the leadoff 1200 meters, Sophomore Dan Apicella ran 3:33.22, Sophomore Chris Butko ran 56.31 in the 400 meters, Freshman Declan Wollard ran 2:16.32 for the 800 meters while Sophomore Jimmy Sause in a personal best by 8 seconds ran 4:49.47 in the anchor 1600 meter leg to take 1st place in 11:35.32. This is the St. Peter's Prep school record for Sophomores. In the freshmen race, Bennett Wong ran 3:49.5 for the 1200 meter leg, Ken Creer ran 64.2 in the 400 meter leg, Hayden Criollo ran 2:18.3 for the 800 meter leg and anchored by Alex Alberti in a personal best of 5:16.0 to take 1st in 12:28.0.

In the Sophomore Sprint Medley, the Marauders ran three freshmen with a leadoff 200 meters by Prince Bush in 26.56 for 200 meters, Steven Sprofera ran 26.04 for 200 meters, Nathaniel Soliven ran 58.43 for 400 meters and Sophomore Charlie Smith running his 2nd race ran a personal best of 2:18.53 for 800 meters to place 4th overall in 4:09.56.

May 11, 2012 The 19th Annual Bulldog Metuchen Frosh-Sophomore Invitational at Metuchen High School saw the Marauders break a school Sophomore record in the distance medley relay. The race was combined with all the Frosh and Sophomore teams running together. Leading off the Sophomore team was Chris Butko who ran 3:28.63 to hand off in the lead on the 1200 meter leg to Freshman Minkah Fitzpatrick who ran a season's best 53.78 in the 400 meters, he was followed by Dan Apicella in 2:06.71 for the 800 meters followed by Fritz Heinrich's anchor leg for the 1600 meters in 4:41.96 for a team time of 11:11.12. This time was just behind the meet record. The freshmen team was started by Alex Alberti's personal best in the 1200 meters in 3:50.6. Nathaniel Soliven was next up and ran 59.2 for the 400 meters who handed off to Ken Creer in a personal best 2:19.4 for the 800 meters. The team was anchored by Declan Wollard who ran 5:08.8 for the 1600 meters for a team time of 12:18.0 and the 2nd place finish.

In the Sophomore 1600 meters, Jimmy Sause was 1st in 4:54.12 followed closely by David DeLeon in a personal best of 4:54.65 for 2nd and Charlie Smith in a personal best of 5:07.2 for 5th place. Every runner went home with a medal at this meet.

May 12, 2012 The Kearny Invitational/South Hudson Development Meet at Kearny High School running for the first time saw Junior Ryan McGann win the 1500 meter run in 4:13.44.

May 17, 2012 The Hudson County Track Coaches Association Outdoor Track Championships at Lincoln Park started with a 4th place finish by Sophomore Jon Hilliman in the long jump with a 20' 2.5" inch jump. Senior Dashawn Putman jumped 18' 10" for 7th place. Junior Gabe Gonzalez threw 107' in the javelin. In the high jump, Senior Dashawn Putman was 3rd with a 5' 10" jump while Sophomore Eamonn Dwyer was 5th with a 5' 6" jump. In the discus, Senior Keon Williams threw 96'.

In the freshmen events, Vinny Miragliotta was 3rd in 85' 4".

May 19, 2012 Junior Randall Wall led the way on the 2nd day of the meet with a 1st place finish in the 110 meter high hurdles with a 15.4. He also finished 2nd in the 400 meter hurdles in 57.0. These are both personal best times for Randall and a school record for Juniors in the 110 meter high hurdles.

In the 3200 meter run, Sophomore Fritz Heinrich in a personal best and a school Sophomore record ran 10:59.7 to take 4th. Sophomore Jimmy Sause also in a personal best time ran 10:32.8 for 7th place. Fritz later came back to set a meet record in the Sophomore 1600 meter run for 1st place in 4:45.5 while Jimmy Sause was 2nd in the event in 4:55.8. In the same race, Sophomore Andrew Smythe in a personal best ran 5:32 for 1600 meters.

In the 100 meters, Senior Dwayne Singleton ran 11.3 for 4th place In the 400 meters, Senior JR Robinson ran 52.7, a personal best, to take 5th place. In the 800 meters, Sophomore Dan Apicella in a personal best ran 2:04.2 to take 5th place.

In the 1600 meter run, Junior Ryan McGann, in a personal best and school Junior record, ran 4:26.1 to take 1st place in the event. In the triple jump, Senior Dashawn Putman was 2nd with a 40' 8.25" jump. In the shot put, Junior Kurt Espiritu, in a personal best, threw 39' 11.75" for 5th place while Senior Keon Williams threw 38' 7.75" for 6th place.

In the freshmen events, Minkah Fitzpatrick led the way with a tied meet record in 100 meters in 11.4. Next up for Minkah was a 1st place finish in the 400 meters in 53.2 while Nat Soliven was 5th in 55.9. Prince Bush was 8th in 58.3. Again it was Minkah in 1st place in the 200 meters in 23.5.

In the shot put, Steven Sprofera was 1st in a personal best of 41' 6.5". In the 800 meters again in a personal best Declan Wollard was 2nd in 2:08.8. Ian Michelin was 5th in 2:19.6.

May 20, 2012 The Catholic Track Conference Frosh-Sophomore Championships at St. John Vianney High School in Holmdel saw Sophomore Eamonn Dwyer take 1st in the high jump in 5' 10". In the 800 meters, Sophomores Chris Butko in a personal best of 2:02.2 took 3rd place, Dan Apicella was 8th in 2:06.8 while Mikhail Harvey ran 2:18.6. In the 1600 meters, Sophomores Jimmy Sause was 4:53.5 for 7th place while Andrew Smythe in a personal best ran 5:15.2. Andrew just yesterday had set his personal best but 24 hours later ran 17 seconds faster. In the 400 meter hurdles, Danny Arroyo ran 65.6.

In the freshmen events, Nat Soliven in a personal best ran 55.0 for 6th place in the 400 meters. Declan Wollard also took 6th place in 2:09.7 in the 800 meters. Alex Alberti ran 5:16.85 in the 1600 meters.

May 25, 2012 The NJSIAA State Sectionals at Ridge High School in Basking Ridge saw Junior Randall Wall finish 7th in the 400 meter hurdles in 57.05 to qualify for the State Group Championships next weekend. In the 100 meters, Senior Dwayne Singleton ran 11.45, Freshman Minkah Fitzpatrick ran 11.74 and Sophomore Jon Hilliman ran 11.74.

In the 1600 meters, Junior Ryan McGann ran an impressive 4:26.38 to take 7th place and qualify for the State Group Championships. Sophomore Fritz Heinrich was 11th in 4:37.22 which was a personal best. In the high jump, Senior Dashawn Putman was 2nd with a jump of 6' 2" while Sophomore Eamonn Dwyer was 6th in 5' 10". Both Dashawn and Eamonn qualify for the State Group Meet.

In the shot put, Junior Kurt Espiritu threw 38' 6" while Senior Keon Williams threw 34' 11". In the 400 meters, Senior Najee Glass made it three in a row by winning the race in 47.8.

Senior Dashawn Putman has been accepted and will attend St. Peter's College where he will continue his track accomplishments on an athletic scholarship.
