While in study hall at Springfield Catholic HS in Spfld, MO, I thought I'd search for the HSHS XC team and see what's up on the Jersey Shore--I am a '65 HSHS grad (1st graduating class at the new school). There was no XC or track in 65. I currently coach the girls' XC program and teach literature--my former HS profs would wonder about the direction of ed. in the midwest if they were aware that I was in the field of ed. I notice some neighborhood names on the HSHS roster--I was a St. Michael's (Ducktown) guy. Wouldn't it be a dream come true to bring my team to AC to compete in a dual with my old school--on the beach, of course. Dreams do come true!
