If we have sufficient entries, we may split a race into two sections, awards for both. In no case will a race run ahead of schedule; if needed, we may run a little behind the printed schedule to facilitate any extra races or crossovers on the new course.
A RUNNER MUST RUN IN THE RACE CORRESPONDING TO HIS OR HER YEAR IN SCHOOL. Absolutely no moving up!
3. DISTANCES: New Courses! Freshman will be about 3200m. Varsity course is a one loop 5000m
4. FEES: $6.00 per individual
5. ENTRIES: Unlimited in all divisions. All entries and rosters are online at nj.milesplit.com
6. ENTRIES DUE: Monday, September 19, 2017
7. CHECKS: Payable to NJCTC

9. AWARDS: Trophies to winning team in each race, plus trophies for overall winners. Medals to top 40 individuals in each race.
10. SCORING: The freshmen races will be scored in the normal manner with the top FIVE runners scoring. YOU MAY ENTER AND RUN AS MANY AS YOU WISH, BUT ONLY THE TOP FIVE WILL SCORE. Freshmen races are separate from the varsity. One championship for the boys and one for the girls. For the varsity championship, the first THREE from each school will be counted; if two sections are needed, for team scoring only the sections will be combined and scored from that result. The lowest total from the sophomore, junior and senior races COMBINED will be the team champion. One championship for the boys and one for the girls.
Because of time constraints, runners whose times are slower than 28:00 (boys) and 35:00 (girls) will NOT be recorded or figured in team scoring.
