The On-line arm of the Newark Star Ledger has Reported this evening that Joe and Jim Rosa, identical twins, have chosen to continue their educations and running careers at Stanford. The news was confirmed by Brian Gould, who coaches the brothers at West Windsor-Plainsboro North HS.
The Rosas have stamped themselves as New Jersey distance running All Timers. Joe Rosa is sitting out the XC season due to a condition iinvolving bones in his foot which was surgically corrected earlier this month. Speaking with Joe this afternoon at the Mercer Cunty XC Championships, he indicated that the procedure was a success and that he would be returning to action during the Indoor Track season. Brother Jim won the Boys title this afternoon running 15:42 for the victory.
