Rising Star Spotlight: Maddy Surber Of Tuttle

Tuttle's Maddy Surber is only a freshmen, but is quickly showing that she can be one of the best hurdlers in the state of Oklahoma. Surber won both hurdle races at the Bethany Twilight including the state's second fastest time in the 300 meter hurdles with a 46.49 personal best performance in Bethany on Tuesday.

She also rolled to a 15.69 clocking earlier in the meet to take the girls 100 meter hurdles convincingly, which is the 8th fastest time in the state of Oklahoma. A talented athlete who also plays softball and basketball, Surber has a very bright future specifically in the sport of track and field.
