Newark Collegiate Charter senior Dequan Brown won his first sectional championship on Saturday running 6.64 in the 55 meter North 2 Group 1 finals. He made it to the final round after leading prelims with a 6.72. He had the fastest Group 1 time of the weekend between the four sectionals.
