Kellert | Alyssa Aldridge matched her winning time and Holmdel PR of 18:07 from last year's Meet of Champions all alone in the Group 3 race this past weekend, she is a solid pick to win her second straight Meet of Champions title. I think Briana Gess is feeling fresh with a cut down racing schedule this fall as she cruised to her Group 2 title as well running 18:43, she could make a solid last XC MOCs run on Saturday for the win, don't count her out of it by all means. "Group 4 Mania" will follow close behind, if you haven't watched that finish yet catch the Group 4 video here as a cluster of leaders fought to the line led by Olympia Martin. Martin was the runner up at last year's Meet of Champions and has been running strong this fall as well.
Stranieri | A battle between Aldridge, Gess, and Martin. After seeing Aldridge run the fastest time of the meet last week (18:07), all by herself, I can't help but pick her to repeat.
