Jack Shea, who's been a major part of Cherokee distance the past few seasons, has chosen where he'll be attending university next fall. Shea will be heading to Northern Arizona University to run and study, he'll be joining fellow New Jersey distance man Joey DeFeo who also announced his decision this week. Cherokee's Head Coach Steve Shaklee presented the news to us Thursday morning also providing the picture above which includes Jack Shea and Assistant Coach Jeff Thompson.
Shea finished sixth at the Meet of Champions last fall and is heading into state season this weekend with plenty of momentum coming off his Olympic Conference Championships win. Check out his personal bests below.
