XC Fall Classic

On the girls side Lauren Kroepfl set the meet record with her time of 18:12 and led the rest of the field by over 30 seconds! Check out our article recapping her performance and watch her interview. The second best time of the meet was put down by Niamh Hayes of Howell HS who finished first in the Varsity A race with an 18:44. 

Team wise in the merge scores South Brunswick edged out Westfield 79 points to 93. South Brunswick averaged 19:55 and split 32 seconds. They were led by Chantel Osley who had the seventh fastest time of the meet at 19:30. 

For the boys meet William Hill of Franklin Twp continued his remarkable switch to cross country with another win running 15:42. That places him second all-time at this meet only behind Tim Ball's 15:31 in 2011. Hill is undefeated so far this season in head to head racing with four wins. 

The team merge went to Voorhees with 52 points an impressive team average of 16:21 and a split of 58 seconds. They were led by Chris Romero who went sub-16 minutes with his third overall time of 15:55. The only others to run under 16 minutes Saturday were William Hill mentioned above and Teddy Meredith second overall at 15:52. The Metuchen boys scored second overall with 106 points and a 16:40 average.
