Here is a .pdf of the rules and regulations for the 2014 XC season as put together by the NJSIAA. But I have gone through all of the key information for you and provided it in an easy to read format below.
This is it, State Season is upon us and teams will begin their road to the MOCs with Sectional showdowns at various locations.
How do you advance?
The top 5 teams in each section will advance to their groups, to add to this the top 10 individuals will also qualify. There are no wild cards at the Sectional level.
Every Sectional meet is on Saturday November 8th and every location has the same schedule.
10:00 - Group IV Boys
10:25 - Group I Boys
10:50 - Group IV Girls
11:15 - Group I Girls
11:40 - Group III Boys
12:05 - Group II Boys
12:30 - Group III Girls
12:55 - Group II Girls

***Note that these virtual meets are based off times from many different courses, they are not the chosen predictions by the site but rather a fun look into the stats recorded so far this season. Take them as you will with cross country statistics involved!

- A trophy and seven medals to the first place team.
- Seven medals to the 2nd through 5th place teams.
- Medals to the first 10 individuals in each group in each section.
- ONLY MEDAL WINNERS (Teams and Individuals) will advance to the state group championships.
