UIL 2A Boys All-State Third Team
21 Jacob Ramirez (Coleman)
Ramirez was 21st at the state meet. He ran 17:20, which is solid for a true 5K distance course.
20 Tyler Nunes (New Deal)
Nunes finished 20th at the state meet, which isn't an improvement from 13th at last year's championships. However, he did get a huge 45 second PR with his 17:20.
19 Ryder Robinson (Memphis)
Robinson was fourth at the Region 1-2A championships and followed it up with a 17:18 PR at state for 19th place.
18 Jackson Martinez (New Home)
Martinez finished the season strong with his 18th place finish at the state meet. He did so with a 17:17 PR that followed his ninth place Region 1-2A finish.
17 Zach Childs (Port Aransas)
Childs was one of Port Aransas' big time runners and their optimism for trying to repeat at the state meet as champions. He was runner-up at district to teammate Kyler Spaeth, was seventh at Region 4-1A and then PRed at state for 17th place in 17:17.
16 Kyler Spaeth (Port Aransas)
Spaeth is a beet meet performer. He was 12th at McNeil earlier in the season. He followed that up with a district title, sixth at Region 4-1A and then 16th at the state meet.
15 Jaden Garcia (Ben Bolt)
Garcia was runner up at his district meet and fourth at Region 4-1A. He continued his hot running streak at the stat meet for his second fastest time of the season and 15th place finish in 17:16.
