Next up is Josh Chazin who was a part of the talented Eastern Regional Distance Medley team this year. He has two individual group state championship appearances as well as a Meet of Champions qualification where he placed 13th in the 3200 meter this past indoor season running 9:29.63.
This issue of the series presents an athlete who takes the name of track AND field star literally, Hawthorne graduate Kaitlin Salisbury.
Today we have a piece sent in by Ryan Rafferty. He had a successful distance running career at Jackson Memorial ending his New Jersey high school career at the Meet of Champions placing 5th in the 3200 meter. That race he ran a PR of 9:10.15 breaking a long standing school record.
