Video Tutorial on Claiming a Team and Editing Rosters

THIS SITE IS ONLY TAKING ROSTERS and UPDATES FOR the SEC weekly meets, and SEC Championship. The sites is closedn for the season.  If you roster issued going forward for the next five weeks email John Schwarz. You may only enter 12 athletes per sex, per team in the varsity competition. There are no non-varsity races this year. No extra names for possible injuries!

Claim your team and enter your team roster here on Milesplit,  (Boys and Girls). Enter your Boys team and Girls team here  (max. 12  athletes per sex) as the entry situation applies to your school. Example Seton Hall will only enter the boys race. St. Vincent will only enter a girls team. You only need enter the sexes that you are running. You need not indicate what division you will be running each athlete in. There is only a varsity division this year in these meets. There are no NON-VARSITY RACES.

WE ARE NOT USING TEAR OFF TAGS ANYMORE! No one will have anything taken off of their person at finish area.

Please teach your athletes to quickly leave the finish area after they cross the finish line.  They should not try to stay in any kind of a line.  We are now using a chip timing system!

You will be issued up to 12 bIbs with chips on them. Your athletes will use/wear the same bib for the entire season. If you want to switch out an athletes on your team, you need to contact me up to the day before that weeks meet. That includes replacement of athletes that are injured.   I will change the name associated with whatever bib number you tell me. Your team WILL NOT be issued new numbers each week and the set of number given to you (a school/coach ) at the first meet must be used for all 5 SEC MEETS this season! If an athlete losses a number, destroys a number, etc., The school will be billed $5.00 per replacement number! I will collect the envelopes back at the end of each meet. If you you (the coach) forgets to collect the bibs from his/her team and you do not return the envelope to me, and you do not show up with numbers at the next meet, again, you will be charged $5.00 per athlete number or a maximum of $60 per sex, per school. So if an athlete leaves your team and you are replacing that athlete with another athlete, I will not give you a new number. The new athlete will wear the number of the athlete they have replaced. That includes new name for injured athletes.

No athlete's names can be changed on your roster on race day - NO Exceptions!!
Starting the second meet, changes/adding of names(until your get to the number twelve per gender) can be emailed to me up to Monday night at 8:00pm. if you have not reached your max of twelve athletes for either sex, you can also email me those names, and I will create bibs for those athletes as needed. The same goes for athlete name replacement for sickness or injury. But again, No athlete's can be added to your roster on race day - NO Exceptions!
Reminder - You cannot run any athletes in any race as training, or for exhibition, if they are not on your official 12 athlete roster listed on Milesplit. This is against the rules. It also presents serious safety, and legal issues to all athletes, and you! That means you cannot put your JV of Frosh athletes on the starting line of a race and have them drop out before the finish line! Or worse yet- have them cross the finish line. You are not permitted to have your Non-Varsity runners practice at Branch Brook Park on meet days! Again, this is to limit numbers do to COVID. I will contact your school if I,  or any official witnesses violation of this rule!
Only bring your 12 varsity athletes and your team manager with you to each meet!
Finally, Please load your team on your bus as soon as possible after your team's race and leave the park. We want the least amount of people in the park as possible at any give time. Your cooperation is appreciated!
We will handle injured athlete replacements at the meet. If more than one athlete, again it needs to be done by 8:00pm the night before the meet.
