Somerset County Wellness Committee presents "5K Race to Wellness"
The Somerset County Wellness Committee and EmPoWER Somerset are pleased to announce the 6th Annual 5K Race to Wellness and 1 mile Fun Walk. These events will take place on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, NJ.
The 5K Race will begin at 9:00 AM followed by the Fun Walk at 9:05 AM.
Proceeds of the race benefit Somerset County non-profit organizations, including EmPoWER Somerset, Somerset County 4-H and Somerset County Tourism.

7:30am - 8:30am Race Packet Pick up
9:00am 5K Start Time (USATF Certified Course)
9:05am (Approximately) 1 Mile Fun Walk
AWARDS CEREMONY: Approximately 9:45am

From Route 287
Southbound:
Route 287 South to Exit 17 (Routes 202/206). When the highways split, take 202 South for two miles and make a right onto Milltown Road. Take the jug handle to cross back over 202 onto Milltown Road and continue to end. Make a left onto Old York Road. Duke Island Park is on the right.
Northbound:
Route 287 North to Exit 14B to Route 22 West. Take Exit for 202/206 South. Follow directions above from Route 202 South.
From Route 22
Westbound:
Follow Route 22 to Routes 202/206 South. When the highways split take Route 206 South. At the second traffic light make a right onto Somerset Street. Follow for approximately 2 miles (road name will change to Old York Road). Duke Island Park will be on the left.
Eastbound:
Follow Route 22 East thru Branchburg. Make a right turn onto Milltown Road. Follow Milltown Road for one mile and bear right under the railroad trestle. Follow Milltown Road, crossing Route 202. Follow Milltown Road all the way to the end. Turn left onto Old York Road. Duke Island Park will be on the right.
From 206 North
Follow Route 206 North into Somerville. Take the jughandle on the right immediately after the traffic light at Somerset Street. (Landmarks - on the right: Walgreens; and on the left: Granetz Shopping Plaza). Continue on Somerset Street for approximately 2 miles (road name will change to Old York Road). Duke Island Park will be on the left.
