DVGTCA Indoor Meet #7
Markeeta Thomas of Swenson ran a PA#5 time of 9.20 to win the 60 meter hurdles. Emma Keenan of Gwynedd Mercy Academy ran a PA#4 time of 57.74 to win the 400 meter dash. Marissa Sheva of Pennridge ran a PA#2 time of 2:16.48 to win the 800 meter run. In the distance medley relay, Central Bucks West ran a PA#5 time of 12:35.00 to win their first of two relays on the night. They also ran 4:05.58 to win the 4x400 meter relay. Kayla Coley of Cheltenham won the long jump with a PA#4 mark of 17-7.75 ahead of PA#5 Amani Nesmith of Swenson (17-6.50). Amanda Benninghoff of Council Rock South took sole possession of the state lead in the pole vault with a clearance of 12-0.50.

Emily Stauffer of Cocalico improved on her state leading mark in the shot put with a personal best of 41-7.50. Mary Witmer of Ephrata won the 55 meter hurdles (8.90) the 400 meter dash (59.99) and the triple jump (33-1.75). Greta Lindsley of Penn Manor ran 5:17.54 to win the mile run and 2:25.56 to win the 800 meter run. For the boys, Jared Horne of Schuylkill Valley won the triple jump with a mark of 44-9.50. Max Mahan of Garden Spot cleared 6-6 to win the high jump. Joe Vedilago of Northern Lebanon won the 400 (50.96) and 200 meter dashes (23.32).

Strath Haven senior Jack Huemmler captured 2nd and an auto qualifiers for the 2013 Millrose Games Boys Mile on February 16th. His 4:16.62 is an indoor PR and is US#3! In other invitational event action, Connor Harriman of Pennsbury finished 6th in the Invite Mile with a PA#2 4:19.06. Tyrone Leach of Norristown finished 9th in the Invitational 400 meter dash with a time of 51.37. Cheltenham (PA#3 and US#8 1:30.62) and Imhotep (1:32.01) advanced to the finals of the 4x200 meter relay. In the final, Imhotep finished 3rd with a PA#4 time of 1:31.27.

Upper Darby finished 4th in the 4x55 meter shuttle hurdles relay with a time of 32.36. Ryan Pierson of Spring Ford finished 7th in the pole vault with a clearance of 13-9. Shaquille Thomas of Coatesville finished 2nd in the long jump with a PA#7 mark of 22-2. Cecil Simpson of Upper Darby cleared 6-2 to win the high jump. Darrik Muroski of Coatesville threw 52-9 in the shot put to finish 3rd. Cardinal O'Hara ran a PA#2 time of 8:04.17 to finish 3rd in the 4x800 meter relay while their 2nd team ran 8:06.64 to finish 7th. Penn Wood ran 3:23.52 to finish 4th in the 4x400 meter relay. Lower Moreland ran 3:40.79 to finish 7th in the sprint medley relay. Pennsbury finished 2nd in the Invitational distance medley relay with a PA#2 and US#10 time of 10:28.64.

For the girls, Sara Sargent of Pennsbury finished 2nd in the mile to earn her spot in the Millrose Games Girls Mile on February 16th. She ran 4:58.75 for her 2nd best mark of the season. Her teammate Husniyyah Rodgers finished 4th in the Invitational 400 meter dash with a state leading time of 56.97. Allison Sharkey of Cardinal O'Hara finished 10th in the same event with a PA#5 time of 58.84. Upper Darby was the fastest PA team in the prelims of the 4x200 meter relay with a PA#6 time of 1:46.03 to finish 11th. Villa Joseph Marie finished right behind them in a PA#7 time of 1:46.34 to finish 12th. Gina Lupica of Villa Joseph Marie finished 3rd in the invitational 55 meter hurdles with a time of 8.56. Tina Bowers of Wyomissing Area finished 9th in the indoor mile steeplechase with a time of 5:57.12. Upper Darby finished 6th in the 4x55 meter shuttle hurdles relay with a time of 38.62.

Strath Haven ran a PA#2 time of 9:33.95 to finish 3rd in the 4x800 meter relay ahead of 5th place Garnet Valley (PA#5 9:37.99). Cardinal O'Hara regained the state lead in the invitational distance medley relay with a US#9 time of 12:14.52. Diamond Hodge of Girls High jumped 36-6 to finish 6th in the triple jump. Macey Tanseco of Perkiomen Valley threw 37-7.25 to finish 4th in the shot put.

Luke Persichetti of Lasalle threw 54-4.25 to win the shot put while teammate Corey Muggler won the long jump with a mark of 21-10.25. Lasalle capped off the day with a solo win in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:34.31. In division 2, Dave Stellaton ran 23.37 to win the 200 meter dash. Christian Sanders of Upper Merion ran 52.11 to set a meet record in the 400 meter dash. Max Norris of Harriton ran 4:30.61 to win the mile run.

Ava Bonetti of Butler finished 3rd in the shot put with a mark of 37-0.75.
For the boys, Greg Miaczynski of Central Tech finished 4th in the 60 meter dash (7.21) and ran 22.79 to win the 200 meter dash. Torey Doaty of Pittsburgh Central Catholic ran a PA#5 time of 50.54 to win the 400 meter dash. Ryan Davey of Canon-McMillan ran 2:02.24 to win the 800 meter run. Alex (4:28.91/9:49.55) and Ryan Archer (4:29.48/9:47.36) of Vincentian Academy finished 3-4 in the 1600 meter run and finished 2-3 in the 3200 meter run, with Ryan finishing ahead of Alex in the 3200. Shafer Swan of Pittsburgh Central Catholic won the long jump with a mark of 21-8.25. Luke Lewis of Hickory threw a PA#3 mark of 57-0.75.

Devon Santos of Hempfield ran 7.93 to win the 55 meter hurdles ahead of Carter Taylor of Nazareth Area (8.02). Hempfield ran 1:34.92 to win the 4x200 meter relay ahead of 3rd place Kennett (1:36.69). Kennett finished 2nd in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:36.09 ahead of 3rd place Great Valley (3:36.46). Great Valley ran 8:25.42 to win the 4x800 meter relay ahead of Hempfield (8:37.41). Elon Rembert of Great Valley cleared 5-10 to win the high jump, jumped 19-10.75 to finish 2nd in the long jump and jumped 41-11.50 to finish 2nd in the triple jump. Tim Moses of Palmyra cleared 15 feet to win the pole vault.

Tessa Barrett of Abington Heights became the new state leader in the 3000 meter run with a US#8 time of 10:02.69! Marshay Ryan of Chambersburg won the long jump with a mark of 17-6.25 and ran 7.47 to win the 55 meter dash. Britini Phillips of Bloomsburg jumped 35-10.25 to win the triple jump. Erica Voysey of Tyrone Area cleared 5-3 to win the high jump.
Rachel Sowinski of Holy Redeemer ran 5:18.04 to win the mile. Dallas junior Regan Rome was 2nd in 5:18.92. Cedar Cliff ran 4:10.35 to win the 4x400 meter relay.
For the boys, William Cather of State College ran 8:58.64 to win the 3000 meter run. Church Farm School ran 1:35.16 to win the 4x200 meter relay. Charles Wilson-Adams of Tyrone Area cleared 6-5 to win the high jump. Kyrelle Quinn of Central Dauphin East jumped 43-6 to win the triple jump.
