Live at The South Jersey Shootout

 

This may be the most entertaining meet on the NJ Cross Country scedule and we are here, live for the SJ Shootout. This unique "Gimmick" meet features a full slate of races. After the Middle School, Frosh & JV races, the Varsity races begin with the 5-6-7 runners, then the 3-4 athletes and finallly the Stud and Studette races with the top 2 runners on each team.

 

NEWS FLASH

Reports from the Bowdoin Classic in New York tell us that CBA swept the field taking 1-5 in the Championship Race this morning. The Colts averaged roughly 15 seconds a man faster than last year's National Championsip squad

With Brianna Gess not in the field, the win still went to Hadonfield Middle School as Caitlyn Bonnet wins the MS race in 10:12

In the Boys MS race, .Derek Gess, who is Brianna's younger brother wins in 9:41 for the 2621m MS course. Derek is only a 6th grader.

The team winners in the Boys MS race are Marlton MS, the feeder program to Cherokee HS. Their winning score 62 points edges out the Clearview MS squad by 8 points. Marlton was led by 2nd place finisher Nick falk in 8:59.

 

Heather Warren is the winner of the Frosh Girls event running 18:34

In the Frosh Boys race, A>P> Schalick's Cosmo Pirozzi runs 15:21 for the 4208m course for the win and a new Course Record.

 

Ashley Peoples is the winner of the Girls JV race with the time of 22:12

The Boys JV winner is Tom Duff of Egg harbor Twp. with a time of 18:36

 

In the Girls 3-4 race, Mt. St. Dominic goes 1-2 as frosh Juliet Kohi gets the win in 19:52, followed by Jessica Brodsky in 20:26

Egg Habor Twp. scores in the 3-4 Boys race with Mike Rossbach who ran 17:14

 

Vicky Ajimoko of Williamstown wins the 1-2 race in 19:26

The Boys "Stud" race is on the course now and Delsea's Nick Costello is leading through the mile plus mark.

Costello wins in dominant fashion with a 15:57 (un)

Amari Shabazz of Mt. St. Dominic Academy is the winner of the GirlsVarsity 5-6-7 race in 20:51.

In the Boys race, David Hazel wins in 17:40

 

The Girls 1-2 race is on the course and Amanda Corbosiero has a big lead over teammate Sarah Workman and Williamstowns Vicky Ajimoko
