2012 Meet of Champions - Live From Old Bridge

Meet of Champions Redux

In case any of you missed it, the NJSIAA 2012 Outdoor T&F Meet of Champions (MOC) was suspended on Thursday evening due to thunderstorms that moved through the Old Bridge area shortly after the meet started. It will resume this evening (Mon. 6/11) at 5pm at Lombardi Stadium, Old Bridge.

NJRunners will be back on site to cover the action as it happens.

Back to our regularly scheduled programming;

Subsequent to the decision to suspend the MOC on Thursday and reschedule it for Friday, the NJSIAA decided to re-reschedule the event for Monday (tomorrow 6/11). The meet will  resume at 5:00 at the point that action was called laast Thursday.

To clarify some questions regarding the restart, Don Danser sent the following to NJR earlier this evening;

"Any event that started was suspended and will continue where they left off. No new athletes can be added. Those in the event who haven’t thrown yet can scratch. Only events that have not started can athletes decide to enter tomorrow any event they qualified for on track or field even if they had not entered on Thursday."
