The Rowan U. HS Girls Open - Live Onsite

Last summer when I visited the RunningWorks camp, one of the first persons that I ran into was Ringo Adamson, the Head Womens XC / T&F Coach at Rowan U. As we ate breakfast, Ringo spent a great deal of time telling me about the Rowan U. High School Girls Open and about what a great event it was. I sheepishly admitted that I had never been and promised that I would make the trip to Glassboro. Along the way, everyone I have spoken to about the meet does nothing but rave about the event.

So now, tomorrow evening, NJRunners will head south to my wife's Alma Mater (used to be Glassboro College back then) to cover and take part in this great meet.

Along with coverage of the meet, NJRunners will presenting to the schoool of the 800 Meter Run Champion a $200 donation to the General Scholorship Fund. It should be a great night of Track & Field in New Jersey. Come on back and check!

With a little over an hour to go the stadium is already buzzing as the final preparation is underway. Ringo is all over the place, The music is on, and the athletes are warming up for what will be another terrific meet here at The Rowan U. HS Girls Open.
