Our 2 Athletes of the Week have each had success over the course of the 2011 XC season and are now poised to move on to hopefully bigger things. Each won their respective Section and each ran the fastest times of the day for their Section. And last but certainly not least, each will be awarded a stylish, limited edition NJRunners tee shirts for their efforts. Let's see who they are.

This Week:
Tim, who is having a lights out year, captured the North 2 Group 4 title over a very talented field in 15:50 at warinanco Pk. on Saturday. He has only lost this year to Edward Cheserek and that was in the Eastern States race at the Manhattan Invitational. The talented senior made the announcement this week that he will be attending Notre dame University in the fall.

This Week
Ariana won the North 1 Group 3 Sectional Championsip in her first trip ever over the Thompson Park course with fastest time of the day (18:20). She has wone her last 4 outings, including the Bergen MOC on 10/29 in some of the worst weather ever for XC.
