New Jersey's Egypt Bolan of Lindenwold HS cleared the top bar height of the Penn Relays at 5-10.5 and finished third on jumps.
First and second overall, Kate Voelker of Manhasset (NY) and Ella Michelitch of Minisink Valley (NY), who also cleared 5-10.5, went to a jump off as they both hadn't missed until neither cleared 5-11.25.
Bolan's third place finish followed a gutsy third attempt clearance at 5-09.5 to even make it to the 5-10.5 bar, which she cleared on her first attempt.
This is the second straight year Bolan finished third at the prestigious Penn Relays.
She holds an indoor PR of 5-10 and an outdoor best of 5-10.75, which came during her victory at the New Balance Nationals Outdoor meet at this same venue.
