
The Rumson girls and Christian Brothers Academy continued their respective dynasties on Friday night at the Bennett Center in Toms River, as Rumson's girls captured their fourth straight team championship and CBA extended its long-standing dominance on the boys side by winning a staggering 16th titlesin a row!!!
4-PEAT
The Rumson girls finished first in the team standings with 52 points to win their 4th straight title. Colts Neck (33) and Marlboro (28) finished 2-3.
The Bulldogs were fueled by senior star Reese Reynolds Malone, who was a double-winner. Malone won the 400m (55.82) and the 55 dash (7.39), providing key points toward the Bulldogs' title run.
Shore Regional junior Alexandra Klein captured the 1600-meter run in 5:00.82, edging Middletown North's Helena Szep and Colts Neck's Lydia Bereznitski in one of the most competitive races of the meet. Middletown South sophomore Amelia Pattwell followed with a decisive win in the 3200 meters, clocking 10:51.64.
Marlboro senior Eva Gonzalez emerged as one of the meet's top all-around performers, winning the 55-meter hurdles in 8.71 and adding another title in the long jump with a leap of 17-2¾.
Manalapan senior Jessica Abbott claimed the 800-meter run in 2:15.15, holding off Wall's Cali Buxbaum and a deep Red Bank Catholic contingent. St. John Vianney closed out the girls compoetition by winning the 4x400 relay in 4:22.31.
The field event titles went to Monmouth sophomore Janelle Lewis in the high jump (5-2), Red Bank Regional senior Julia McCormack in the pole vault (11-0), and Academy Charter sophomore Eniya Johnson in the shot put (35-3½).

SWEET 16
On the boys side, Christian Brothers Academy continued its incredible streak, winning the team championship for a record 16th straight time and a 34th time overall with 111 points. Colts Neck finished second with 46 points, while Manalapan placed third with 28.
CBA juniors Liam Wheeler and Finn Sheehan went 1-2 in the 400 meters, led by Wheeler's winning time of 51.21. Middletown South's Sebastian Louisa captured the 55-meter dash in 6.64, while Ocean Township's Andrew Viggiano won the 55-meter hurdles in 7.54.
Distance events featured strong performances from Colts Neck and CBA. Jay Adimala of Colts Neck claimed the 1600 meters in 4:24.53, while CBA's Ryan Collins returned later in the meet to win the 3200 meters in 9:39.73. Shore Regional's Brady McHugh won the 800 meters in 1:58.55.
CBA also closed out the meet by winning the 4x400 relay in 3:31.43.
Field event victories went to Holmdel senior Lukas Lundh , who won the high jump by clearing 6-7, a PR by 3 inches!!!! CBA junior Shane Landau won the pole vault (13-6), Red Bank senior Peter Gallina captured the long jump (22-3¾), and Ocean Township senior Ayden Winters won the shot put (57-5).
