Congrats to the 32 New Jersey cross-country squads across the state who were crowned champions on Sectional Saturday.
There were long droughts ended, big streaks continued and the Leonia girls and Passic Tech boys were the only teams in the state to win their first sectional titles!!
And big shoutouts go to the 5 programs that pulled off the broom jobs by sweeping the team titles- Leonia, North Hunterdon, Haddonfield, Ocean City, and Cherokee. Haddonfield, Ocean City, and Cherokee also swept the championships last year.
