TEANECK, NJ – The NJIT men's and women's indoor track and field teams competed at the Patch Track Meet hosted by Fairleigh Dickinson Sunday afternoon at the Rothman Center.
Senior Josh Dolisca finished first in the men's shot put with a throw of 14.37m.
Highlanders' Ruben Santos took second in the men's long jump with a distance of 1.92m.
Freshman Brian Mendez placed third in the 1000 meter run with a time 2:40.70.
On the women's side, freshman Ewelina Marut was the top finisher for the Highlanders in the 3000 meter run with a time of 11:42.30, good for third place.
Both teams will return to action on January 9 at the Army Open.
