Only one other New Jersey athlete has cleared at least 6-06 this season and that is Skyler Salay of Burlington Twp who made 6-06.25 during the Cherokee Relay and Field meet on May 7th. There are six athletes tied at 6-04 for NJ No. 3. Potts also cracked the top 50 in the US with this height.

The sophomore plays football and basketball in the fall and winter seasons.

Potts' long jump of 22-02.5 (NWI), also recorded at the South Brunswick Classic, currently ranks NJ No. 9 heading into the May 15th weekend.

New Jersey only saw three athletes over the 6-08 bar outdoors in 2019 and five in 2018. Let's see how many new and familiar faces join Potts as the season progresses.
