Meet Directors and Associations around New Jersey are working through COVID-19 guidelines and logistical hurdles as we venture into yet another unprecedented type of season.
As a community we'll see plenty of varying ideas and solutions to the hurdles ahead. To gain insight into one of these avenues we've asked the Shore Track Coaches Association President Todd Briggs to provide a look into their meet series, the thoughts behind the decisions they made, and more.
Throughout March the STCA will run 17 meets. Most will be qualifiers for a Shore Coaches Championship event, winners will automatically advance from each Pod while the rest will have to outrun a merge of the performances.
The STCA will also host Monmouth and Ocean County shot put championships toward the end of March and they will qualify into the overall Shore Coaches Championship event as well.
It should also be noted these will all be indoor events and other than the county shot put championships these meets will be held at the Toms River Bubble.

- Pod A Distance Qualifying Meet - Friday, March 12th, 5 PM at the Bubble
- Pod B Distance Qualifying Meet - Saturday, March 13th, 3 PM at the Bubble
- Pod C Distance Qualifying Meet - Saturday, March 13th, 7 PM at the Bubble
- Pod D Distance Qualifying Meet - Sunday, March 14th, 9 AM at the Bubble
- Pod E Distance Qualifying Meet - Sunday, March 14th, 1 PM at the Bubble

- Monmouth County Boys Shot Put Championship - Saturday, March 20th, TIME at Howell
- Monmouth County Girls Shot Put Championship - Saturday, March 20th, TIME at Howell
- Ocean County Boys Shot Put Championship - Saturday, March 20th, Noon at Southern Reg
- Ocean County Girls Shot Put Championship - Saturday, March 20th, 9:30am at Southern Reg
- Shore Coaches Championships - Saturday, March 27th, (Girls) 10 AM, (Boys) 2 PM Bubble
Unfortunately due to regulations there will be no high jump or pole vault at these meets.
