Schools Will Remain Closed Through At Least May 15th

During his Thursday daily briefing Governor Phil Murphy announced that schools in New Jersey will remain closed at least through Friday, May 15th due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Schools have been learning remotely since the middle of March and will continue in that capacity under the extended closings.

The New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association gave their own update shortly after the Governor's announcement. Their previous update on April 10th covered possible competition layouts should schools return before or after May 25th

New Jersey MileSplit will continue monitoring the high school sports situation this spring as more information arises.
